Job Description
Our Food & Beverage Service Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. Supporting the General Manager and their supervision and control of all food & beverage operations including, restaurant, lounge, room service, and function rooms.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly influence the future effectiveness of the restaurant through involvement in the recruitment, hiring, training and motivation of all front-line food and beverage employees.
Lead employees by personal example with a philosophy of work conduct and personal development that leads to maximum performance and job satisfaction.
Represent BCP in such a manner as to enhance the reputation of the company.
Ensure that all front-line food & beverage employees are well trained, maintain professional standards of appearance and serve their customers in a prompt, professional, friendly manner.
Coach, develop & manage the performance of the restaurant leadership/supervisor team.
Interact effectively with employees, clientele and the local community to ensure service requirements and market conditions are anticipated and understood.
Ensure the prompt and efficient service of all meals, snacks, functions and beverages to the standards of the restaurant.
Circulate throughout the restaurant, inclusive of lounge and function rooms maintaining a positive profile with clientele and staff.
Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times and that all colleagues are committed to working safely.
Maintain, inventory and order all beverages.
Effective and timely interaction with all departments, key relationship with Hotel Front Office & Group Sales. Attend meetings as required.
Liaise with GM to evaluate beverage menus and ensure proper costing and customer satisfaction.
Effective and timely interaction with Payroll Supervisor regarding payroll and new hires.
Other duties as required and assigned to meet guest and business needs.

Job Requirements
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3 years management or supervisory experience within a food and beverage environment equal in size and services.
Knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, and budgeting techniques.
Ability to interact effectively with employees, clientele and the local community to ensure service requirements and market conditions are anticipated and understood.
Ability to motivate and lead employees in a busy, high quality environment.
