Matthew Turcotte

Former Bar Manager and SaaS Sales Executive

About Candidate

After spending the past year abroad across Southeast Asia, I am returning to Canada and looking for an opportunity immediately for the summer season in Canmore or Banff. During my travels, I completed Divemaster training, undertook independent motorcycle and trekking trips, and immersed myself in a wide range of cultural experiences across Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Nepal and beyond. These experiences strengthened my confidence, adaptability, resilience, and ability to connect with people from many different backgrounds.

With a background spanning hospitality leadership, bar management, restaurant operations, sales, and customer service, I bring a strong ability to work with people while staying calm, organized, and solutions-focused in busy environments. Over the past several years, I have managed teams, handled guest concerns, coordinated logistics, balanced competing priorities, and maintained high service standards in fast-paced hospitality settings across, Waterton, Calgary, and Toronto.

My experience has taught me how to communicate clearly, build trust quickly, solve problems under pressure, and remain adaptable when situations change. I am comfortable working independently, learning new systems quickly, and taking initiative where needed, while still contributing positively to a team environment.
