Job Description
Wild Life Distillery is located in Canmore, Alberta and we are excited to be hiring for this amazing career opportunity!
We are hiring for the position of Production Assistant who will be responsible for helping with the day-to-day operations of our production facility. The role involves working alongside our distilling team in a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to milling, mashing, fermentation, packaging, cleaning & maintenance, and driving company vehicles for deliveries and inventory movement. This is an opportunity to work with the passionate team here at WLD, and produce world class spirits in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.
What you will do …
– Work with our team in the production facility and be involved with the production of all WLD products.
– Assist with milling, mashing and fermentation activities.
– Assist with distillery maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and facilities.
– Assist with inventory management and packaging of all WLD products.

– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
– A sharp attention to detail and ability to plan daily tasks and work efficiently.
– An ability to work efficiently alongside other team members and also excel while working independently.

Job Requirements
The fine print… The candidate must
- Maintain a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Have 3 years experience as an insured driver within Alberta.
- Be able to commit 40 hrs/week. Weekend work is expected within this role.
- Be physically capable of working up to 10 hours daily and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Be comfortable driving, navigating, getting in and out of a van/truck multiple times a day in all types of weather.
- Forklift operation experience is an important asset.
- Distillery or beverage industry experience within a production role is an asset.
