Your visual design of imagery, illustration, photography, and compelling text treatments will promote courses, programs, services and opportunities, while reminding people about how we do things differently in Banff. You will provide content to motivate, inspire and inform a community of almost 9,000 residents, as well as over 4 million annual visitors.
Working in the Town’s Communications and Marketing team, you will help “Take Care of Banff” through print and digital publications, advertising and social media assets, signage and other display communications, to support 100 programs and services in 70 municipal service areas. The team includes an experienced Graphic Designer and five other communications specialists.

You may work on a diversity of topics such as public safety, transportation and parking information, recreation programs, settlement and immigration services, housing information, public engagement promotion, environmental protection, and emergency preparedness. You will own some projects to completion, and contribute to some shared projects, both routine advertising products and standalone campaigns. Our style is fitting of a national park, where environmental conservation is part of everything we do, and we work hard to break through to deliver clear messages to people with diverse backgrounds, languages and literacy levels.
