Job Description
Are you someone who can fix just about anything? Do you like the idea of working both indoors and outdoors while enjoying the stunning scenery of Banff? Well, you might be the person we’re looking for! The Facilities team is looking for someone who can “Take Care of Banff” by keeping things running smoothly, whether it’s fixing a leaky faucet, picking up litter, providing support to our cleaning services team when needed to maintain facility standards, or making sure snow doesn’t bury us all in the winter. Your days will be filled with a variety of tasks, from basic plumbing and carpentry to the occasional battle with a stubborn light bulb. If you like variety and don’t mind the odd wildlife sighting while you’re at work, this job is for you.

Job Requirements
This position is the chance for you to show off your skills in basics repairs including carpentry, electrical and even plumbing (who doesn’t love a challenge). You’ll be able to handle preventative and reactive maintenance to all Town owned facilities, when something is broke, you’re the right person to fix it! Your positive attitude will help you push through the cold days of shoveling snow and your awesome customer service skills will help even the most frazzled tourist. You’re adapt at handling things when they don’t go according to plan and will always jump in to help your fellow coworkers.
The Facilities team works seven days a week, someone has to be there to keep the sidewalks shoveled and open up the public washrooms. You can provide a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License. Bonus points will be given to those who hold valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification.

This is a Full-Time, permanent role within the Facilities team.
