Job Description
Full-time, Term Position – January to April, with possibility of extension
As Digital Media Coordinator, you “Take care of Banff” by maintaining timely, accurate and useful information for Banff residents on the Town of Banff’s primary information channels.
Your experience in producing, editing and publishing web content that is accessible and informative would be applied throughout every day. Your talent for informative and engaging social media publishing and comment monitoring would advance the reputation of the Town, while keeping community conversations constructive and positive. Your ideas and insights into providing clear, plain language information and imagery will help enhance the channels in your control: web, microsites, e-newsletters, social, display ads and digital signage.
As an experienced webmaster and content coordinator for social media, you excel in the latest publishing and analytics tools. Your references attest to your attention to detail and accuracy, and timely delivery of content. You are reliable and have been trusted to hold an organization’s “digital presence” in your hands. You can work independently yet thrive in a team environment. You rise to the responsibility as the “voice” of the organization, representing the interests of our municipality in providing information to our community of 10,000 people and 4 million visitors each year.
Our workplace is fast paced, responding to requests from multiple teams to promote programs, services and calls to action, and you deliver a seamless flow of well-paced news people can use. You use project management tools to keep content calendars on track, your colleagues updated, and you can pivot with important assignments.
