Job Description

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for managing all aspects of the Hotel Front Desk. The Front Desk Supervisor ensures that their team provides the highest standard of guest satisfaction by leading a superior customer service oriented team.
Key Accountabilities:
· Leads a team focused on providing the highest level of customer service to our guests
· Monitors FIT allotments accounts; monitors room releases prior to cut off times
· Assist in development of promotions to ensure maximum occupancies are attained
· Oversees credit policies, controls, and financial transactions
· Recommends, develops, and implements employee incentives designed to increase revenues
· Reviews all guest comment cards and complaints; takes corrective action to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and maintains Diamond/Star rating standards
· Prepares regular reports on occupancy and revenue metrics for hotel manager and executive management
· Coordinates with the Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure hotel rooms are prepared for guests and cleanliness
· Ensures night audit functions are conducted accurately and provides daily reports to accounting
· Prepares schedules, edits timesheets, and assists daily duties
· Design and implement procedures to meet sales targets
· Control, monitoring and sales of Gift Cards
· Order, stock, and inventory Sales Kiosk to maintain sales operations
· Manages other initiatives or duties as required

Job Requirements

Education and Qualification Requirements
· Post-Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience
· Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
· Computer literacy in MS Office
· RoomMaster/Travelclick and Profitek experience an asset (other hotel software acceptable)
· Minimum 2 years in Hotel Front Desk operations
· Minimum 1 year in Night Audit functions
· Casino experience an asset
· First Nations experience an asset
· Other languages an asset
· Criminal Record Clearance mandatory
