Job Description
We are a busy family looking for a reliable, proactive, and organized house helper to take on meal planning, cooking, and light cleaning a few days a week.
This is a great opportunity for someone with kids in school, a grandparent or someone seeking flexible, part-time work. We prefer a mature person or someone knowledgeable about healthy food and family-friendly meals.
Responsibilities:
– Meal planning
– Creating grocery lists and online orders
– Food prep
– Cooking
– Cleaning up after yourself from cooking
– Light housekeeping (tidying, wiping surfaces, putting toys away, vacuuming)
Schedule & Location:
– 2 days per week, 3 hours per day
– 6 hours a week to start, opportunity to increase with time
– We can arrange either flexible scheduling (between the hours of 9am and 5pm) or set days/times if you prefer
– We are located near Settler’s Way bus stop on route 5C and we have free street parking.
Compensation
$20/hour, paid as an independent contractor
References and a background check preferred

- You must be comfortable with large dogs (100 lb German Shepherd mix) as he will be in the house while you are here
- Organized, proactive and reliable
- Basic ability to use technology (to make online grocery orders)
- Family friendly and trustworthy
- Knowledgeable about how to choose recipes that are family-friendly, within a budget, and healthy
