Lodge Hand – Front Desk & Server Hybrid
Location: Storm Mountain Lodge, Banff National Park, Alberta
Wage: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time (with subsidized staff accommodation)
Start Date: Immediate openings and May 15 hires
Staff Housing & Meals: Room and board available for $20 per day

Storm Mountain Lodge is seeking a versatile and service-driven Lodge Hand to support both our front desk and dining room operations. This unique hybrid role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment, enjoy guest interactions, and can seamlessly transition between front desk duties and food service.

Responsibilities
Front Desk Duties:
Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-ins and check-outs
Manage reservations and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
Provide guests with information about the lodge and surrounding area
Ensure a smooth and organized front desk operation
Collaborate with housekeeping and kitchen teams to enhance the guest experience
Server Duties:
Deliver exceptional service in our dining room, creating a memorable guest experience
Take orders, provide menu recommendations, and serve meals with attention to detail
Ensure seamless coordination between the front of house and kitchen for smooth service
Maintain a clean and organized dining area
Assist in setting up, clearing, and resetting tables to lodge standards
Qualifications:
Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for guest service
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or front desk roles is an asset but not required
Ability to work efficiently in both fast-paced and detail-oriented tasks
Willingness to contribute to multiple areas of lodge operations
Comfort with handling POS and reservation systems
