Job Description
The Lovely Lab is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member with hospitality experience. The ideal person will be confident working front of house, serving customers and also able to step into the kitchen to assist chefs when needed. The role will be full time year-round offering 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment during the warm summer months but also works well as part of a tight-knit winter team, keeping the high quality Lovely standards all year round.
Responsibilities
Manages FoH serving duties smoothly during busy times
Support kitchen team by helping with desserts and learning our recipies
Cover chef’s days off with basic kitchen duties (no chef qualification required, but a willingness to learn is essential)
Handles duties that are routine such as operating, cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring all areas of the kitchen are kept clean and sanitary.
Completing assigned prep, cooking, packaging work to a high standard.
Adheres to the high Lovely standards when completing tasks.
Ensures the safety and security of the property, the ambassadors and guests when completing duties.
Ensure health and safety practices are followed.
Job Requirements
A serious love for awesome ice cream and desserts
Previous kitchen or bartending experience required
Pastry chef experience preferred
High attention to detail and ability to pickup recipes quickly to a high standard
Reliable and willing to step-in when needed
Positive attitude and a smile
Availability full-time and year round
Ability to stand for majority of shift
