Job Description
As a Tour Guide & Class 4 Driver, you will lead scenic day tours through Banff & Yoho National Parks, providing guests with fun, educational, and memorable experiences. This role combines safe transportation with storytelling, nature interpretation, and customer service excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Safely operate company vehicles (11 passenger Mercedes sprinter van) to transport guests.
• Follow applicable transportation rules and regulations
• Deliver engaging commentary on local history, geology, wildlife, and culture.
• Lead short walks and scenic stops throughout Banff & Yoho National Parks.
• Provide a safe, welcoming, and professional guest experience.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Assist guests with questions, photos, and recommendations.
• Uphold all safety standards and park regulations.
• Post-trip van clean-up for future guests.
This is a casual position which may lead to part-time/full time

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
• Class 4 Driver’s License (required or willing to obtain).
• Previous guiding or tour experience an asset.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Knowledge of Banff & Yoho National Parks, or passion for learning.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather.
• Standard First Aid w/ AED or Wilderness First Aid.
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-service focused.
• Must have accommodation in Canmore, Banff, or nearby.
