We’re looking for a assistant manager to join our team!

Jolene’s Tea House on Bear Street is seeking an intelligent, warm, and dynamic team leader. For nearly 20 years, we’ve been hand-blending tea right here in Banff. Our charming location, the historic log cabin, is nestled in the vibrant heart of Bear Street. We take pride in welcoming visitors from around the globe and providing them with exceptional customer service. Our team is dedicated to sharing the joy of tea, creating memorable experiences, and embracing the beauty of mountain life! Our assistant manager brings the team together by maintaining organization and ensuring smooth operations both on the floor and behind the scenes.

What you’ll do:
● Manage daily operational requirements with your team
● Manage customer requests and all email communications
● Manage daily cash and financial reporting
● Initiate new brick-and-mortar marketing strategies
● set sales goals and report
● Recruit and train all new employees
● Lead by example and promote optimum staff performance
● Maintain weekly inventory levels
● Manage ordering
● Formulate pricing under existing policies, enter new products
● Merchandising and fresh seasonal displays
● Maintain a safe and clean store environment
● Leads operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing existing program procedures.
● Processing online orders and handling online customers inquiries, products returns, products exchanges and sales.

Job Requirements

● Excellent communication skills written and verbal
● Past retail experience
● Organized with a strong attention to detail.
● Polished and professional customer service skills
● Team building
● Action oriented management skills
● Inclusivity
● Ability to work with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
● Experience with point of sale systems is an asset
● An interest in marketing is an advantage
