Job Description
We are assisting a welcoming and private family in Canmore, Alberta, who is seeking a responsible and caring Parent’s Helper on a part-time basis. This role will require support every second Friday evening and all day Saturday (Must be flexible with other days when needed). The family includes older children, and they are looking for a trustworthy individual who can help with both household tasks and pet care.
As a Parent’s Helper, you will play an important role in assisting the family with day-to-day tasks, ensuring that the home runs smoothly and the family can enjoy quality time together.
Responsibilities:
– Walking the family’s small dog and ensuring their well-being.
– Setting the table and assisting with meal service.
– Engaging with older children in fun and meaningful activities.
– Organizing ski equipment and ensuring everything is ready for family outings.
– Providing general household support as needed.
– Potential for additional hours during holiday school breaks.

Job Requirements
- Experience in family care and managing household tasks.
- Comfortable with pet care duties and handling small dogs.
- Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability every second Friday evening and all day Saturday. (Must be available to work extra days during holidays and summer break)
- Must have valid drivers license with clear abstract.
