Job Description
COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Contract remote full time position (3-month probation period)
40 hrs per week Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm MST

The Communications Coordinator plays an essential supporting role in building, implementing, and helping customers, primarily school volunteers, reach their fundraising goals by offering an extensive variety of Canadian-made products. This role will support Indeygo by refining communications and customer service tools, workflows, procedures, and information.
You’ll work to develop and manage customer services and collaborate extensively while being an integral part of working with customers to ensure participation.
This remote position provides an opportunity to flex your creative muscle and manage a variety of communications and marketing activities and campaigns.
ROLE DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination & Communications
● Respond to customer inquiries via email and website promptly.
● Assist in planning and improving customer service workflows and tools.
● Manage front-end operations: communication standards, volunteer support, and problem-solving.
● Oversee digital marketing: landing pages, email campaigns, and social media.
● Create engaging content for social media, website, and marketing materials.
● Develop strategies for lead generation and customer retention.
● Work with external vendors to execute marketing plans.
● Design graphics and prepare materials for communication using tools like Adobe or Canva.
● Manage shipping logistics across Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS
● Degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience.
● Proven experience in digital marketing, including website and content creation.
● Familiarity with CMS and CRM systems, especially Daylite/Marketcircle.
● Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to recommend solutions.
● Excellent writing and communication skills with a talent for creating compelling copy.
● Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
● Quick to learn new tools and systems, with a drive to innovate.
● Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
