Job Description

Do you love dogs? Are you looking for an outside job? We are hiring kennel staff to care for our kennel of Alaskan and Siberian huskies!
Duties include dog care and training (feeding, watering, checking housing, giving medications), kennel maintenance (weed trimming, raking gravel, cleaning), and general maintenance (fixing and painting dog houses, preparing gear for winter).

Job Requirements

Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy items and walk/run on uneven surfaces. A vehicle is required, as the kennel is outside of Canmore (10km). Previous dog/animal work is an asset, but we train to the standards of our tour kennel. Must be available for full work days (8:00-4:30), weekend work required.
This is a no-smoking position.
Term contracts to end of September or October can be extended to the winter as a dogsled tour guide for those interested and capable.
