Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Sales Associate who thrives in a guest-facing role and enjoys working in a space where retail meets floral design. This position is ideal for someone who loves beautiful products, meaningful guest interactions, and the unique energy of a luxury hotel environment.
Our boutique offers a thoughtfully curated range of gift items, including:
– Disney collectibles
– Wrendale Designs stationery and gifts
– Local Banff creators and artisans
– Metaphysical items such as tarot, incense, and spiritual tools
– Puzzles, plush, seasonal gifts, and unique keepsakes inspiring.
Herrington’s Luxury Floral Design is a boutique retail and floral studio located inside the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. We are known for our elevated guest experience, our signature luxury florals, and our curated retail selection that blends whimsy, artistry, and local craftsmanship. Our shop is a dynamic environment where hospitality, creativity, and service come together.
What we’re looking for:
– A friendly, confident communicator who enjoys guest interaction
– Someone reliable and punctual, with availability on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays (9AM – 6PM)
– Interest in retail, florals, hospitality, or luxury guest experience
– Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally assist with heavy lifting as needed

Job Requirements
- Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable guest service to hotel guests, locals, and visitors
- Assist with retail sales, merchandising, restocking, and maintaining a visually beautiful shop environment
- Support the floral team with light tasks such as packaging arrangements, organizing product, and preparing florals for delivery
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and brand presentation standards
- Share product knowledge and help guests find the perfect gift or floral piece
- Represent Herrington’s Luxury Floral Design with professionalism, enthusiasm, and hospitality
