Job Description

Journeyman Plumber & Gasfitter

Cool Runnings Plumbing & Gas is seeking a skilled, reliable, and customer-focused Journeyman Plumber & Gasfitter to join our growing team in the Bow Valley. We take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service on residential and commercial projects throughout Banff, Canmore, and surrounding areas.
This position offers a variety of work including service, renovations, new installations, and troubleshooting. We’re looking for someone who works well independently, communicates professionally with clients, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.

Responsibilities:
-Perform plumbing and gas installations, repairs, and maintenance.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and gas systems.
-Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
-Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and safety regulations.
-Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and suppliers.
-Maintain a clean, organized worksite and company vehicle.
-Mentor apprentices when required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
-Alberta Journeyman Plumber Certificate.
-Valid Alberta Class B Gasfitter Certificate.
-Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
-Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
-Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
