Job Description
Inspect & clean Parks Canada employee work areas, public areas, restrooms, and grounds of the respective Parks Canada locations (litter picking, recycling, shovelling snow). Willingness and ability to perform physical and repetitive work & safely use and handle chemicals.

The Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) is a Federal Government jobs initiative targeted at young Canadians aged 15 to 30. The purpose is to increase employment for youth, enabling them to gain work experience, skills, and to extend their networks. Who can apply? To be eligible, you must be:
· Between 15 and 30 years old.
· Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person who had been granted refugee status in Canada.
· Preference may be given to candidates who self-identify as, Indigenous Canadians, members of a racialized community and persons living with disabilities, as well as youth facing barriers to employment. We encourage you to self-identify in your application. 12 week term offers with possibility of extensions. Staff housing may be available.
WHIMIS training & Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent an asset but not required.
