Job Description
We are seeking for experienced culinary talents to join our team at the Relais & Châteaux Post Hotel & Spa in Lake Louise, Alberta. Staff Accommodations with meals included available.
Position Overview:
The Demi Chef de Partie assists in overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest culinary standards are met and contributing to the success of The Post’s culinary operations. The Demi CDP is meant to continue developing skills and experience to progress to a CDP role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support CDP in daily prep and service within assigned station
· Oversee the preparation of dishes within the assigned section.
· Follow recipes and plating specifications accurately
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation
· Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
· Support kitchen team during service periods
· Learn and execute proper food handling and storage procedures
· Help train and guide kitchen stewards
· Follow all health and safety protocols

Job Requirements
Qualifications
· Minimum 1 year kitchen experience in fine dining
· Culinary education preferred
· Strong knife skills and cooking techniques
· Strong understanding of kitchen operations
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure
· Good communication skills
· Physical stamina for long hours of standing
