Job Description
Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff is hiring for dishwashers to start right away! this is a full time role with subsidized staff accommodation available
Primary Function:
To ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen wares, equipment, and areas, supporting the kitchen’s smooth operation.
Reports to:
Head Chef/Sous Chef/Kitchen supervisors
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate industrial dish machines and wash dishes, glassware, flatware.
Transport clean items to kitchen line or storage areas
Continuously scrape, stack and sort soiled items
Clean and sanitize floors, walls, storage spaces, machinery.
Assist prep cooks, line cooks during slower periods.
Stock, date, and rotate kitchen inventory items
Adhere to appearance standards and kitchen uniform policies.
Comply with all food handler safety and hygiene procedures.
Review condition of kitchen tools; report issues promptly
Experience:
Kitchen dishwasher experience is an asset.
Comfortable on your feet for entire shift
Works well in team environment
Responsible, punctual, and attentive to detail
Physically capable to stand, bend, lift 30 lbs.
Flexible schedule – able to workdays, evenings, weekends
