Shift lead
The Restaurant Supervisor supports the management team by overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring that staff delivers exceptional service. This role bridges the gap between management and employees, acting as a leader, problem-solver, and motivator during shifts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Support and Leadership
○ Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and/or back-of-house teams during shifts. ○ Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure smooth operations.
○ Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing coaching.
2. Customer Service
○ Greet guests and ensure their dining experience meets or exceeds expectations. ○ Address customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
○ Monitor the floor to ensure a high standard of service is consistently maintained.
3. Shift Management
○ Oversee opening and closing duties, ensuring they are completed efficiently. ○ Act as the primary point of contact for staff during shifts to resolve any issues.
4. Operational Support
○ Monitor cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations. ○ Ensure that equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs.

Qualifications
● Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role, preferably in a supervisory position.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
● Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
● Organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Knowledge of food safety and workplace health regulations.
Work Environment
Shift Leads work primarily on the restaurant floor, supporting staff and interacting with guests. Shifts typically include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs. You will be serving/bartending while you shift lead.
