Job Description
Bright Days Premium Child Care is currently seeking an Assistant Director to join our team in our brand-new, state of the art, facility in beautiful Canmore. The Assistant Director plays a crucial role in the management and operations of Bright Days. This position assists the Daycare Director in overseeing all aspects of daily operations, management, planning, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care. The Assistant Director supports a positive and nurturing environment, fostering the growth and development of both children and staff.

Job Requirements
- Level 3 Early Childhood Education and Development Diploma, or equivalent (must have)
- Additional experience or training in management, human services, psychology, or social work (preferred)
- Experience with implementing a FLIGHT or Montessori curriculum
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with children in a professional child care setting
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to build meaningful working relationships with the team
- Strong knowledge of Alberta licensing rules and regulations
- Effective interpersonal skills
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- An Alberta approved food safety certificate course (or willingness to obtain)
- Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
