We are looking for a full time maintenance technician. This person will be responsible for repairs in the guest rooms, public areas, other areas of the hotel and hotel grounds, and our staff accommodation/rental units. WE OFFER PRIVATE BEDROOM IN SHARED 2 BEDROOM APARTMENTS, SUBSIDIZED STAFF ACCOMMODATION.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Respond to all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Respond or perform duties of a groundskeeper in all weather conditions.
Complete work order requests in an efficient manner.
Maintain all work areas in an orderly and clean condition.
Inspect public areas daily for any issues.
Providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas, and administrative offices.
Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door, and window repairs.

Job Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50lbs and push up to 100lbs.
A valid class 5 driver's license and clear drivers abstract is required
Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English
Clear criminal record check
Minimum 1 year of previous maintenance (hotel experience an asset)
A.M./P.M. shift bi-weekly or as required
Houseman duties as required on P.M. shifts (vacuuming, light cleaning, deliveries etc)
