Job Description
We collaboratively assist and serve many of the Bow Valley’s most vulnerable residents. Our role in the community is deeply meaningful; we provide safe and comfortable housing programs for seniors and others who need housing support. Our Cascade House team interacts with residents, families, clients, service partners, and fellow team members daily to accomplish good in the community.
Please get in touch with us about this role if you are legally able to work in Canada and are able to perform physically demanding tasks and work different shifts including after hours and weekends. Well-developed interpersonal, customer service and kitchen skills are needed for this important position. The role is full-time, permanent, 8-hour shifts, with fully paid lunch and rest breaks, ample paid vacation leave, a livability premium of 3.5% on top of the hourly wage and a grocery subsidy program. The role reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with many other team members. You will assist us in meeting the needs of our clients through food preparation including desserts, snacks and meals, as well as some serving and kitchen clean up while focusing on safety and customer service.
