Social Media Video Producer – Burger Review Series

Compensation: $50 per video + free burgers

We’re on a mission to find the best burger in Canmore & Banff, and we need a social media video producer to lead the charge! Your job? Show up at local restaurants, try their burgers, and create engaging, high-quality short-form videos (think TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) where you rate them based on a consistent set of criteria.
You’ll be on-camera, but more importantly, you’ll be telling a story—hooking viewers in from the first bite and keeping them engaged until the final rating.
If you love burgers, video creation, and storytelling, this gig is for you.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong on-camera presence—confident, charismatic, and engaging.
Experience producing social media content.
Ability to shoot high-quality video on your phone.
Basic editing skills (TikTok/Reels-style captions, text overlays, and b-roll integration).
A passion for food reviews and an eye for engaging storytelling.
Local to Canmore/Banff.

Nice to Have:

Experience with food blogging, vlogging, or review content.
Familiarity with social media trends and best practices for short-form videos.

Job Requirements

Visit different restaurants across Canmore & Banff to review their burgers.
Film and edit high-quality short-form videos (under 60 seconds) for social media.
Follow our proven video structure to maximize engagement:
Start with a visual hook (showing the burger) and a verbal hook (teasing the final rating).
Introduce the burger and set expectations.
Break down your review using a consistent set of criteria (e.g., taste, patty quality, bun, toppings, sauce, price, etc.).
Deliver a final rating out of 10.
Capture b-roll footage for smooth editing and visual appeal.
Overlay on-screen text and captions to improve engagement.
Upload and deliver ready-to-post content that aligns with our brand style.
