Job Description
Since its opening in summer 2014, Block Kitchen + Bar is one of Banff most celebrated independent restaurant. We are looking for talented, team-oriented individuals who enjoy making great food and making people happy eating it.

Job Requirements
Minimum 1 solid year of experience making creative sandwiches & tapas / small plates and bigger plates along with a deep culinary interest and desire to deliver an outstanding taste experience to our customers on a daily basis. Sound Asian food knowledge / preparation / knife skills / plating experience are major assets.
You must also have the following attributes:
-Punctual, clean, organized and fast. Food safety certification an asset.
-Have experience cooking hot food without screaming in fear when the pan flashes.
-Ability to work in a tight, confined space. (Submarine kitchen experience a definite asset)
-Enjoy working with others in a tight space. Take instructions well.
-Wanting to learn, willing to park your ego at the door, have fun and be part of Banff's highest-rated independent restaurant.
