Job Description
Work at the BEST SALON in Banff! BEATNIK Salon is a popular and swanky, community-focused, eco-friendly and gender-neutral hair salon offering high-end services in a casual setting. Your position will include welcoming clients, answering the phone, booking appointments and taking payments using online salon software, as well as balancing end of day totals. You will be contributing to the daily operation of the salon, recommending products and attracting new clients. Behind the chair, you will be cutting, washing and styling hair, conducting colour consultations, lightening and colouring hair. We offer the potential for wedding party styling in salon and on location, and the opportunity to style for photo shoots to build your portfolio.

BEATNIK Salon is looking for a fun, friendly and outgoing individual to join our team of Hairos! The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience cutting, styling and colouring hair. We hire stylists that have a positive presence in the Bow Valley, great communication skills and a strong focus on client attraction and retention. We value a friendly yet professional demeanor, punctuality and a high level of personal responsibility. Experience with wedding styling is an asset. Knowledge of COLOR.ME and the KEVIN.MURPHY product line is beneficial.
