MTN House by Basecamp is our latest upscale property with 99 newly renovated hotel rooms, an elevated restaurant with a farm to table ethos, and Canmore’s first Nordic Spa (opening 2025).
Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Front Office Manager, the Guest Service Agent is responsible for daily check in and out procedures, handling guest inquiries, and providing basic concierge services while ensuring the highest level of customer service.
Wage: $19-$20
Position: Full-time/Permanent and requires availability for weekend shifts
Key Responsibilities
– Daily management of reservations and virtual check-in pre-arrival duties including payment processing, online registration verification, damage deposits.
– In-person check-ins and checkouts of hotel guests.
– Complete daily administrative tasks while handling guest interactions via in-person, phone, email, internal e-messaging, 3rd party messaging.
– Facilitate dining reservations for Rhythm & Howl and ensure any dietary information and special requests are communicated to the F&B team.
– Provide basic concierge services such as 3rd party attraction bookings and other similar reservations.
– Work with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals and total room inventory is accurately reflected.
– Act as a Lobby Ambassador during peak business levels to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for all guests.

Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of previous experience in an elevated setting is preferred but not required.
- Hotel PMS experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of Webrez Pro is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize and organize.
- Able to work well independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Take initiative in solving problems.
- People forward mentality with a can-do attitude.
