Job Description

Help shape the voice of one of Canada’s most unique Pride festivals. The Marketing Coordinator will lead digital marketing for Banff Pride 2025, driving engagement across social platforms, the website, and email newsletters. If you’re a creative storyteller, design-savvy, and passionate about queer visibility, this role offers a high-impact experience in nonprofit marketing with national visibility. Full time: Jun 05 – Jul 24
Part time: Jul 25 – Oct 17

What You’ll Do:
– Build and execute a digital marketing campaign for Banff Pride Festival
– Manage and grow our presence on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and LinkedIn
– Design graphics and video content that reflect queer joy and celebration
– Update our Squarespace website with event listings, bios, and info
– Analyze engagement data to optimize strategies
– Create a shareable marketing toolkit for long-term use
– Work closely with the Executive Director to amplify our message

Ideal For Someone Who:
– Has Canva, Squarespace, and social media experience
– Understands the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and values inclusive design
– Can write compelling content and manage digital ad spend
– Is highly organized, creative, and can work both independently and collaboratively

Job Requirements

- Be aged between 18 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
