Job Description
This role strengthens Banff Pride’s community ties, working with local businesses, volunteers, and 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations to build lasting partnerships and support unforgettable events. You’ll help plan Pride events, lead volunteer coordination, and co-create engagement strategies that keep our festival rooted in the Bow Valley. Part Time: June 05 – July 03, August 29 – October 17
Full Time: July 03 – August 28
What You’ll Do:
– Build and maintain relationships with businesses, nonprofits, and stakeholders
– Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for Pride and year-round programs
– Support planning of events like speaker series, Taste The Rainbow and Live Music
– Design volunteer and partner appreciation strategies
– Create outreach templates, handbooks, and feedback forms
– Represent Banff Pride at community events and meetings

– Loves working with people and creating welcoming spaces
– Is organized and comfortable managing logistics
– Has experience with community events, volunteer management, or outreach
– Enjoys problem-solving and values grassroots change

Job Requirements
- Be aged between 18 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
- Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
