Job Description

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

– Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner to create a positive first impression.
– Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring smooth and efficient flow of guests in the restaurant.
– Assist guests with seating preferences, ensuring comfort and accommodating special requests when possible.
– Maintain a full knowledge of restaurant menus, special promotions, and hotel amenities to provide guests with accurate information.
– Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
– Assist with coordinating in-room dining orders and ensure timely delivery to guest rooms.
– Demonstrate a complete understanding of restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
– Ensure the entrance and waiting areas are clean, organized, and inviting for guests.
– Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate to management if necessary.
– Ensure all restaurant equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
– Follow safety, security, and sanitation procedures at all times, especially when handling food and beverages.
– Follow the hotel’s telephone etiquette standards.
– Remain on your feet for extended periods, occasionally lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs., and frequently bending, kneeling, and standing.
– Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Job Requirements

Ideal Candidate:

- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries with -professionalism.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a positive team player.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Proficient in the English language; knowledge of a second language is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle multiple guest needs simultaneously.
- Must be flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
