Job Description
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
– Consistently provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to ensure memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations, in line with Banff Park Lodge and Crave’s service standards.
– Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, ensuring all items are served according to company guidelines.
– Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring orders are correct and meet service expectations.
– Demonstrate full knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and special promotions.
– Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns.
– Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring it aligns with company cleanliness standards.
– Prepare tables for new guests by cleaning and resetting as per restaurant policies.
– Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary.
– Operate all restaurant equipment safely and efficiently, following operational guidelines.
– Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures at all times, especially when handling food and beverages.
– Collaborate with fellow team members to provide seamless service and ensure guest satisfaction.
– Walk and stand throughout the shift, occasionally lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs., and frequently bending, kneeling, and moving quickly to meet guest needs.
– Perform other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations.

Job Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in food and beverage service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional service.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to stay motivated during busy shifts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in the English language; a second language is an asset.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexible with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
