Job Description

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

– Operate in-house washer and dryers,
– Wash, dry and fold towels, linen, and uniforms,
– Count, sort and record clean linen and tablecloths as noted on the distribution form,
– Assist with the pickup and return delivery of laundry to and from other properties,
– Check laundered articles to ensure that established standards are met,
– Demonstrate a working knowledge of hotel safety and security procedures as required in order to maintain a secure and safe environment for guests and hotels,
– And other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements/Ideal Candidate:

- ***Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving abstract***,
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time,
- Work independently without supervision,
- Visually check work, work area, and hotel spaces,
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs,
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, and pulling,
- Previous experience is an asset,
- English language skills enough to engage guests in conversations,
- Deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner,
- Communicate with all managers, supervisors and fellow associates,
- Well groomed and conform to hotel dress code.
