Job Description
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
– Arrive for shifts on time, with a professional appearance and a positive attitude.
– Maximize revenue while controlling expenses, especially labour and food and beverage costs.
– Provide corrective discipline to personnel as required and create a positive, productive team atmosphere.
– Ensure public areas and function spaces are clean and organized and report any maintenance issues.
– Provide “hands-on” assistance as needed to expedite service and meet with event planners to address any requests promptly.
– Maintain working knowledge of Lightspeed functions for accurate computation and posting of guest function bills.
– Take care of hotel equipment and supplies by using them as designed, storing them securely, and reporting any deficiencies.
– Work cooperatively and effectively with all staff to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve conflicts in favor of the guest’s needs.

Job Requirements
Ideal Candidate/Job Requirements:
- Has a minimum of 1 year of food and beverage/catering supervisor experience
- Alberta Pro Serve certificate is required
- Flexible schedule required
- Must be physically cable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Has a dynamic personality and excellent customer service skills
- Shows strong leadership, interpersonal skills and brings in a positive attitude
