Job Description
As a representative and knowledgeable local of the area, Visitor Experience Specialists engage with visitors on multiple Banff & Lake Louise Tourism visitor service channels. By listening and asking probing questions, this role supports visitors in planning authentic and memorable experiences throughout the path to purchase. Local insights and knowledge of the area inspire visitors from around the world to do more, stay longer, and to experience the awe of Banff National Park.
As a Visitor Experience Specialist, you will engage with visitors across multiple channels including in-person, over the phone, and on LiveChat. Visitors will look to you for trip planning advice and recommendations to enhance their stay in Banff National Park. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are excited to learn about everything Banff and Lake Louise have to offer, we’d love to have you join our team!
The job posting will remain active until we find the right candidates. Please submit both your résumé and cover letter for consideration. While we appreciate all applications, only qualified candidates and those who are eligible to work in Canada will be contacted. Applicants who live in the Bow Valley will take priority.
We’re a values-led destination marketing organization committed to sharing this extraordinary place with the world, while advancing the vision to Lead Tourism for Good. This vision inspires action, progress, and hope in Banff and Lake Louise—aiming to bring the community together and show how tourism can be a force for good toward a sustainable future. By working at BLLT, you will help realize this vision and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and innovative workplace.
Banff & Lake Louise Tourism is committed to building a workplace where everyone can succeed and belong. As a Signatory to the 2025 Bow Valley Workplace Inclusion Charter, we are working on commitments this year to build an even more diverse, equitable, and inclusive team environment.
We value a wide range of skills, experiences, and backgrounds and encourage all qualified candidates to apply. We are working to eliminate barriers for applicants and team members from equity-seeking groups. If you can’t apply online or need support during the application or hiring process, please email Robyn, our Manager, People & Culture (rfisher@banfflakelouise.com) to discuss your needs.
