Job Description
We are seeking a Lodge Supervisor for Banff Beaver Cabins Inc. and Elkhorn Lodge
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Verify that cleaners arrive on-time and clean according to schedule;
2. Quality check cleaners’ work
3. Carry-out various functions in laundry room including but not limited to: loading and running washing and drying machines.
Receiving laundry from the washing and drying machines. Separate, sort and fold laundry and linen;
4. Clean commercial accommodation units as needed;
5. Clean and organize storage and laundry rooms
6. Open and close hot tub at 9am and 9pm when scheduled. Check and record water quality and balance chemicals. Change filter weekly;
7. Conduct daily property checks including but not limited to: Cleanliness and maintenance of BBQs, hot tub and all outdoor areas;
8. Snow removal as necessary throughout the day (winter only);
9. Watering Flowers
10. Report and address safety concerns that arise on and around the properties to Lodge and General Managers;
11. Communicate with the Lodge and/or General Manager relating to the maintenance and the repair of the property, which should be done in an efficient manner;
12. Perform minor maintenance work including but not limited to: Clogged drains & toilets, burnt-out light bulbs, changing batteries, etc.
13. Co-ordinate plumbers, electricians and other trades as necessary;
14. Cover additional daytime and evening/overnight on-call shifts when on-site manager, Lodge Manager and/or General Manager is absent;
Working hours: 4 days per week (9:00am – 3:00pm at lodge and cabins; on-call after those hours for any guest queries or emergencies), 3 days off per week unless otherwise scheduled

Job Requirements
We are looking for an individual with some hospitality experience; specifically in the housekeeping department.
Great communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities are mandatory for this position.
We do require the supervisor to travel between Beaver Cabins and Elkhorn Lodge (218 Beaver Street and 124 Spray Ave).
