About Basecamp Properties
Basecamp Property Management Ltd is a rapidly growing boutique chain of hotels and real estate developments based in Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise, Kananaskis, Revelstoke, Golden, and many more on the way. Sundance by Basecamp is a glamping experience in trapper’s tents and tipis in the heart of Kananaskis Country, overlooking the Kananaskis river. The Campground runs from mid-May to around mid-October.
Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time seasonal Campground Attendant Supervisor that will take care of the overall day to day tasks around the campground.
Wage: $18-$19
Seasonal: Start beginning of May till Late September/Mid October
Key Responsibilities
– Enforce all the rules and polices at the front desk.
– Provide feedback from the staff to management.
– Organize the front desk.
– Work with General Manager and Maintenance Manager to make improvements.
– Handle phone duties and be on-call for overnight shifts (occasionally).
– Respond to online reviews and emails in a timely manner.
– Assist with month-end inventory processes.
– Work with General Manager and Maintenance Manager to make improvements.
– Be proficient with Webrez and shift4 to help when the General Manager is away.
– Educate visitors on campground rules; walk the campground and enforce all campground rules including but not limited to pet regulations, wildlife, enforcement of quiet hours, enforcement of checkout time.
– Assist in the Trading Post store with reservation, guest requests, stocking shelves, and processing sales.
– Report all violations of rules to your supervisor/manger.
– Provide housekeeping to all Trappers Tents and Tipis to ensure it is guest ready and to standard.
– Clean sites of debris and rake upon guest departure.
– Be visible and available to answer questions and help guests.
– Cleaning and maintaining campsites, day use areas, and all public areas of the property.
– Basic landscaping duties including raking and trimming of branches, etc.
– Maintaining food waste bins and picking up litter around all areas of campground.
– Maintenance of washroom facilities which includes sweeping and cleaning the outhouses.

Job Requirements
- Previous experience in Campground work is considered an asset.
- Able to live in a remote location.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows – Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Negative criminal record check.
