Job Description

Supports vegetation program by assisting with terrestrial restoration activities and monitoring. Conducts front and backcountry control and surveys for non-native vegetation. The majority of the work involves mechanical and chemical control of non-native vegetation (using hand tools, brush saws, herbicides, etc.). The position is field based.

We encourage you to self-identify in your application.  12 week term offers with possibility of extensions.  Staff housing may be available.

·         registered as a full-time or part-time secondary or post-secondary student in an accredited academic program.

·         or participating in adult education and retraining programs at the secondary level, operated under the authority of an accredited academic institution.
