Retail Sales Professional – Full time Permanent

Job Requirements
Responsibilities & Character Traits:
• You need to be very strong at sales! It’s right in your job title. You lead in this regard. Your positive, outgoing personality inspires others on the sales team.
• You are confident and eager to engage with all people. You represent the art every day.
• You work independently and effectively in a timely manner. You also understand the importance of following detailed systems that are in place to provide unity within the company.
• You may be called to design innovative and captivating social media programs and email campaigns. You’ve got a lot to say and an interesting way to say it.
• You carefully commit to inventory and purchasing systems from the sales side.
• You support your colleagues with your knowledge to help make them productive, fulfilled team members.
• You identify emerging trends and inform the rest of your team so that we can successfully engage with any new reality. You are an explorer at heart.
• You help organize and participate in enjoyable and successful gallery events such as new release gatherings.
• You value preparation and you are super organized, but penetrate chaos with calm as you meet unique problems.
• You are physically fit and able to move and install large pieces of art easily and safely. You will carry out very mundane tasks and also embrace tasks that have a deep and lasting impact on your clients and our company. You are very important.
• You are professional and punctual.
• You care about others so you embrace safe practices.
Ideal Qualifications:
• A successful and verifiable track record in sales minimum 2 years, with demonstrated results.
• The ability to tell a detailed story.
• Confidence and the ability to engage with optimism.
• Computer savvy in MS Office, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, Social Media
• Post secondary education, possibly among the fields of marketing, communication, design or business.
Other Possible Assets:
• Second and third languages are assets, especially French and Mandarin.
• Unexpected relevant skills and knowledge, for example, a background in art or interior design.
• Local knowledge of the Bow Valley.
• Anything else you have. Bring it all. Maybe you play the banjo?
