Job Description

THE STAR 6 RANCH IS HIRING FOR SUMMER 2026!

Are you handy, hardworking, and eager to spend your summer outdoors? Star 6 Ranch is looking for a Ranch Hand to join our team for the summer season (May–September), with the opportunity to extend for the right fit. Training will be provided.

We are seeking a dependable team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for working outdoors. Previous experience in ranch work, groundskeeping, or animal care is an asset. Ranch work often involves learning new skills on the job, so a willingness to take direction, show initiative, and continue improving is essential.

POSITION: RANCH HAND
As a Ranch Hand, you will play a key role in keeping our ranch running smoothly. You will support daily operations, maintain the property and program spaces, and assist in the care of our animals and program partners. If you enjoy hands-on work, thrive in dynamic environments, connecting with the community, and are adaptable to new challenges, this role is for you.

ABOUT STAR 6 RANCH
Nestled within 80 acres of stunning grasslands, meadows, forests, and riparian areas, the Star 6 Ranch is a sanctuary for those seeking to reconnect with the land, community, and themselves.

We believe that meaningful connection with the land and each other helps us unearth our authentic selves and discover that everything we need to thrive lies within.

The Star 6 Ranch is a venue for health and wellness programs facilitated through the Star 6 Ranch Foundation, films, courses/classes, and small festivals and retreats. We are also home to 5 horses, 2 donkeys, 1 pony, 14 chickens, 2 cats, and a ranch dog – Leo!
