A private household in Canmore, Alberta is seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker /Supportive Roommate to provide full-time care and support within the home.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the daily care, supervision, and well-being of a household member requiring ongoing support.

Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Provide personal care, and supervision for safety as required
• Support with daily living skills, hygiene, laundry, staying on schedule
• Assist with daily routines and activities
• Support client through transitions and schedule changes which can be challenging and ensure a safe home environment
• Meal preparation support, making healthy choices
• Perform light housekeeping related to care
• Teach life skills – food prep, housekeeping and organizational skills
• Monitor well-being and report any changes
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain a consistent and structured care routine
• Ability and availability to perform morning and evening routines and some day shifts.
• Some pet care occasionally
Requirements
• Proven experience supporting persons with special needs
• Ability to follow care instructions and maintain consistency
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
• Good time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently within a private household
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if required
