We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team for the upcoming season. We offer flexible contract options, with both 4-month and 6-month contracts available. Start dates are in May, with all contracts concluding in October.
Please note that staff accommodations are NOT available.
JOB SUMMARY:
The team here at the Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn work together each day to create an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience for our guests. As a Room Attendant you are the key to creating a clean and comfortable stay for our guests.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide cleaning services for guests on a day-to-day basis.
-Complete task sheets of listed rooms to be cleaned each day.
-Observe and report any maintenance repairs needed.
-Work with cleaning chemicals; proper use training will be provided.
-Help stock and maintain cleaning supplies, linen carts, and linen rooms.
-Return Lost and Found items to the housekeeping office.
-Abide by all resort safety procedures to always ensure safety of both staff and guests.
-Daily cleaning of common areas.
-Vacuuming carpets & rugs; sweeping and mopping floors.
-Sanitizing high traffic touch points.
-Removing trash, recycling, and compost.
-Stripping and making beds.
-Replenishing and restocking amenities.
-Checking lamps, lights, clocks, and miscellaneous equipment to ensure they are in working order and reporting problems.
-Reporting Damages.
-Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses.
-Taking garbage to loading dock areas.
-Respond to guest requests and deliver to guests as needed.
-Assists Colleagues as directed by Team Lead and Housekeeping Manager.
-Assist in laundry when required.
-Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Knowledge in and passion for the customer service industry.
-Strong attention to details.
-Energetic, flexible, reliable, hands-on individual with initiative and integrity.
-Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
-Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
-Friendly and pleasant demeanour, courteous, self-motivated, and professional.
-Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a team.
REQUIREMENTS
-Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
-Ability to work with cleaning chemicals; proper use training will be provided.
-Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time.
-Available to work weekends.
-Must have valid Canadian work permit. We do not provide LMIA.
-Previous housekeeping experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train.
-Valid first aid certification is considered an asset.
