Job Description
Love Dogs? Want to work outside and stay physically fit? We are willing to train the right person to work with our sled dogs and guide teams through the Canadian Rockies. We are looking for applicants with experience in guiding and/or animal work, or working long physical hours.
Learn from experience dog mushers with 30 years of experience, and work with a crew of active dog lovers! Duties include dog care (feeding, cleaning), gear maintenance, kennel work, guiding 2 hour tours with guests, up to 4 trips per day, and trail cleaning.

Job Requirements
Contract position to April 30, 2026, possibility of extension for the summer kennel help. Must be able to work weekends and holidays, full days, and be able to work in all weather conditions. Guides must be physically fit and have no current injuries, able to lift heavy items and walk/run on uneven surfaces. A vehicle is preferred - the kennel is 10km east of Canmore with no public transit. Car pooling with other staff can be arranged only if living in Canmore.
This is a non-smoking position.
