Elements Child Care is seeking a nurturing, passionate, and reliable full-time Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

As the newest addition to The Banff Day Care Society, Elements Child Care is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging early learning environment for children and families here in the heart of Banff from Tuesdays through to Saturdays. We strive to create a space where every child feels valued, supported, and is encouraged to explore, discover, and learn through play.

Elements is a smaller, close-knit centre, with three classrooms thoughtfully arranged within one large, open hall. While each classroom has its own space and identity, the open layout allows educators and children to naturally connect across the centre, giving you the opportunity to know every child, build relationships with them, and watch them grow throughout their time at Elements.

As part of our team, you’ll work alongside experienced educators to support children’s development through intentional, play-based experiences while helping shape and grow this new centre. We’re looking for someone who loves working with children, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings warmth, creativity, and a sense of play to their work. Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, responsive care and active supervision to ensure children’s safety, well-being, and sense of belonging.
• Create and participate in engaging, play-based learning experiences that support children’s development, interests, and curiosity.
• Communicate openly and build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow team members
• Support children through daily routines, transitions, and emerging learning opportunities with patience and encouragement.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully prepared learning environment.
• Collaborate with educators in planning, implementing, and reflecting on programming.
• Follow Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and centre policies and procedures.
