Job Description
Emerald Lake Lodge in Field, BC is hiring for a full time Night Cleaner to start immediately. Subsidized private accommodation is available!
Primary Function: The Night Cleaner plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness in all areas of the lodge during night hours. This position is key to ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize all public areas including lounges, restaurants, gyms, games rooms, etc.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, polish furniture according to standards
• Restock amenities and supplies.
• Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Complete deep cleaning projects and assist on special events.
• Provide noise complaint investigations and front desk support.
• Handle master keys securely and sign in/out properly.
• Adhere to all appearance standards and dress code policies.
• Comply with health, safety and sanitation procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Experience:
• Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Professional, safety-focused, and guest service-oriented
• Excellent time management and communication abilities
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Responsible, punctual and works well independently.
• Flexible schedule – able to work overnight and weekends
