Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, approachable person with outstanding organization, prioritizing, time management, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. A high level of professionalism in dealing with the public and matters of confidentiality is required.
Duties include:
● Provide administrative support for the Assistant Superintendent of Technology, Learning and Facilities, the International Student Program Coordinator and the Homestay Coordinator.
● Handles sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate manner.
● Protect the privacy of homestay families and staff.
● Supports the Human Resource Department in developing and administering employee contracts.
● Maintains confidentiality and protects operations by keeping sensitive information confidential.
● Communicate and develop strong relationships with agents from a variety of countries around the world.
● Assists with confidential information related to the International Student Program and custodianship.
● Maintain staff and student files, database information, issue and track international invoicing.
● Assist the International Student Program Coordinator and the Homestay Coordinator with the planning, organisation and facilitating of student activities, waivers, and insurance.
● Issue accounts receivable invoices and maintain petty cash receipts and expenditures.
● Member of the administrative team that supports the senior administration.
● Other duties as assigned by the International Student Program Coordinator, the Assistant Superintendent of Learning, Technology and Facilities and the Homestay Coordinator.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
● Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
● Strong oral and written communication skills.
● Understanding and knowledge of human resource related topics.
● Strong understanding of and ability to use computer software applications such as Google Suite, Powerschool, Microsoft Office and ability to easily learn online database management/ knowledge of True North.
● Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
● Highly organized.
● Flexible.
● Ability to work independently and as a collaborative, supportive team member.
● Ability to problem solve with good decision making skills.
● Friendly and professional manner when dealing with the public, staff and students.
● Familiarity with schools and public education is an asset.
● Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation
