Job Description
Canadian Rockies Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following position for the 2026-2027 school year.
● Substitute Teachers (short term contracts may also be available)
The successful candidate will demonstrate the attributes of the Alberta Teaching Quality Standard.
In particular:
● Training in and experience working with students and curriculum across the divisions.
● High energy, a positive attitude and flexibility.
● Excellent communication skills.
● Ability to differentiate curriculum for all learners.
● Excellent behaviour management skills.
● Knowledge of current educational research and issues.
● Excellent oral and written English.
● Experience in working as a member of a professional learning network.
● Ability to work collaboratively and co-teach.
● Understands and applies principles of the Teaching Effectiveness Framework.
● Demonstrates skills of a child-centred Educator who embodies the Mission, Vision and Beliefs of the division.
● Demonstrated ability to effectively integrate technology to enhance the learning opportunities of students.
● Oral and Written French Language Skills would be an asset.
Start Date: When suitable candidates have been found.
