Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for daily cleaning, bedmaking, mopping, vacuuming and dusting of all guest rooms.
Wage: $20
Shifts: Full-time/Permanent
Key Responsibilities
– Clean and prepare all arrival and stayover rooms assigned according to MTN House standards and timelines
– Daily preparation and restocking of carts with appropriate amenities and linens.
– Perform deep cleaning, public area cleaning, and other duties as directed by the housekeeping manager.
– Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure arrivals and departures are properly prepared for, and room inventory is accurately reflected.
Job Requirements
- 6 months of previous experience is preferable but not required. 4 star experience is an asset.
- Able to work well independently with little supervision and complete work at a 4 star standard.
- Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time including walking, kneeling, bending, lifting, crouching, reaching, and pulling.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in teams if necessary including sharing tools and equipment.
